Mitchell is a two-time graduate of Dalhousie University, where he obtained his Masters in Physiotherapy. He has taken extensive post-graduate training in manual therapy, sport therapy & taping, exercise prescription, acupuncture and dry needling. He is a holder of the highest sport physiotherapy qualification in Canada, the Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. He is one of only 11 physiotherapists in Atlantic Canada to obtain this qualification.
