Description

Once upon a time, when I was 12 years old and competing as a provincial-level gymnast, I broke both arms from a fall off the uneven bars. Physiotherapy was a huge part of my life for a while. At some point,I realized that I too wanted to help people get back to the things they loved, just the way my physio helped me.

After becoming a mother of 2, my interest and practice has shifted towards women's health consulting. More specifically, treating those who are pregnant, postpartum, experiencing incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain and all other pelvic health concerns.

Summary

At LIFT Physiotherapy, we spend the majority of time with our clients assessing their needs and function. Due to the human body's capacity for compensation, the source of pain is often not where the problem originated. We aim to find out where the problem originated in order to fix the cause, which in turn will allow the body to heal.

The approach our clinician's take is simple but thorough. We test, treat and re-test. This process provides us with a more objective way of assessing the effectiveness of our treatments.
