Ruxandra Oala

Description

Ruxi received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours from the University of Newcastle, Australia in 2016.  She then practiced in private clinics in the Lower Mainland, as well as managing pediatric home visits outside of clinic hours.  Ruxi also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from SFU.

She is an internationally certified physiotherapist in both Canada and Australia, and is a trauma-informed clinician with Brain Story Certification from Alberta Family Wellness, as well as Dynamic Core For Kids (Module 1) Certification.

Summary

KinCoast Physiotherapy was established in the heart of historic St.John's Street in Port Moody in 2019 by Mitchell Laidler and Ruxi Oala, a husband and wife physiotherapist duo who started their journey together on the sunny East coast of Australia and are now calling the West coast of Canada home.  Having gained their certification in Newcastle, Australia, and successfully completing the national physiotherapy exams in Canada they are both internationally certified physiotherapists in the top two leading countries of physiotherapy rehabilitation and research.
