Not simply a practitioner, Robert continues to be a student and educator in the field of Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on treatment for patients with sports-related injuries. He's published in peer-reviewed scientific journals and a former Chairman of the BC Section of the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Robert is a former Olympic Cyclist, having represented Canada in the 1984 games in Los Angeles, and was Canadian National Champion from 1980 to 1984. His competitive sports history also includes hockey, swimming, volleyball, basketball and track and field.
