Mandeep holds both a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. He grew up and still lives in South Vancouver, staying involved in his community through volunteer work with John Oliver Secondary Athletics and the Khalsa Diwan Society.

A life-long learner, Mandeep continues to take professional development courses to provide the most evidenced based treatment to his clients. He has taken courses in manual therapy, concussion management and functional strength and conditioning.
