Description
Melissa graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree with distinction (2002) and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree (2007). Her clinical approach primarily includes education and therapeutic exercise to actively engage her patients in their recovery. She has extensive training in mechanical assessment and treatment of the spine, and has completed the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy courses (Parts A, B, C, and D). She has also taken extra training in Vestibular Rehabilitation and is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.
