Description
Born and raised in Ontario, I moved to Calgary in 2011, working in Oil and Gas and volunteering with adults with disabilities. In my first year in Calgary, I started rock climbing and I pushed my body in ways I never had before, injuring my hip in the process. What I loved most about physio as a patient was the sense of empowerment I got from learning about my body and being given the tools to make myself better, faster, stronger. Rather than just doing my exercises and calling it a day, I applied to do my Master’s in Physiotherapy and I’ve never looked back.
