She has completed post graduate courses in orthopedics, acupuncture, concussion rehabilitation, ergonomics, industrial rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, functional capacity evaluations, and pre-work screens. 

When not working, Sharla enjoys gardening, photography, golf and the great outdoors with her dog and husband.
