Afton graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise & Health Physiology in 2011. She then completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2014. Afton has continued to advance her knowledge by completing a variety of post-graduate education courses and certifications including: Functional Dry Needling (FDN or IMS), Acupuncture (AA1), Spinal Manipulation, Peripheral Manipulation, Concussion Management (CCMI), and K-taping Pro Certifications. As a physical therapist owned and operated clinic, we place high value on returning our patients to pain free living as quickly as possible. “Our philosophy of care is very individualized,” says clinic owner and physical therapist Steve Hansen. “We make sure that all our physical therapy sessions are scheduled so that each patient has one-on-one time with a highly-skilled, registered physiotherapist.”
