Description
Osteopathy was founded by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, an American doctor, in the late 1800’s. It is a gentle, hands-on manual therapy, individualized for each patient and uses an extensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and osteopathic philosophy. The osteopathic manual practitioner uses a holistic approach to reduce and resolve tension, strains, stress and dysfunction in all areas of the body. The treatments help restore balance within and between all the systems of the body: musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurological, cranial and visceral
