Emma is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. Emma is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Emma has furthered her education by completing training in soft tissue release, level 1 in advanced manual therapy through the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy and certifications in pelvic health assessment and treatment. In May 2020, Emma was awarded the New Graduate Award in Pelvic/Women's by the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
