In 2009 Dana created Body Works Sports Physiotherapy to fulfill her dream of opening a physiotherapy clinic dedicated to whole body assessment and one-on-one treatment times. During the course of her career Dana has been able to combine her love of sport and her skills as a physiotherapist while treating competitive athletes at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010, the Women’s National Soccer Olympic Qualifying Tournament at BC Place in 2012, the Figure Skating World Championships, the Canada Cup Fast Ball International Tournament as well as working with the Canadian National Women’s Soccer.

Education
- Dana graduated “cum laude” with a degree in physiotherapy from the University of Western Ontario in 1993. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Vancouver and began working in private practice orthopaedics. She achieved her Diploma of manual and manipulative therapy and became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy (FCAMT) in 1999, with distinction. She also completed her certification in Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) and earned her Advanced Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy, both in 2008.

We are a small intimate physiotherapy clinic located at 420-233 West 1st Street, North Vancouver, BC, Canada, V7M 1B3, that was designed to cater to your individual needs. We treat all types of injuries. We know our patient’s time is valuable. This is why an entire 30 or 60 minute session is spent in one to one dedicated time with a physiotherapist. We provide focused attention on the patients and their needs and do not divide the time with other clients to allow us to provide the best care possible.
