Description
During her training as an athletic therapist, Gita worked extensively with the varsity athletes at York University in the clinical and field setting. She held the positions of assistant therapist for the men's varsity rugby team and head therapist for the women's varsity hockey team. She has also covered many sporting events including football, basketball, and rugby tournaments both at the high school and university level. Gita is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) and the orthopaedic division of the CPA.
