Joëlle received her master's degree in physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 2010. Her thesis was about the prevention of sports injuries to the inferior quadrant. Her passion for sports has always been present in her life. Very young, she played soccer and later on got involved in her neighborhood's association (Fabrose) as a trainer. Unfortunately, after two surgeries to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament of her knee, she had to stop playing soccer. She pursues her interest for sports by playing tennis, running, hiking, etc.
