Description

Osteopathy is a manual form of therapy which emphasizes the interrelationship between structure and function of the human body. It follows a belief in the body’s ability to self-heal and self-regulate.

In treatment, the whole body is considered, including: muscles, joints, ligaments, fascia, nerves, arteries, veins, organs and the lymphatic system.

The process begins with a full body assessment looking for areas of restriction. Once identified, the practitioner works to increase mobility and function in those areas.
