Description
A graduate of the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, Belinda is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and a registered member of OSTCAN/Ontario Osteopathic Association. Classical osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that focuses on the body and the individual as a whole. Treatment aims to remove soft/hard tissue restrictions, allowing for improved function of nervous, arterial, venous, and lymphatic systems. Restoring functional movement enables the body to self-heal and self-regulate to the best of its ability.

Summary
Classical osteopathy is rooted in the principle that anatomy (structure) and physiology (function) are inextricably linked, and that health is dependent upon proper alignment and function of the body and its systems. Osteopathic manual practitioners are thoroughly trained in anatomy, physiology, osteopathic assessment, theory and practice, and functional mechanics. We provide a non-invasive, full-body assessment and treatment that seeks to identify and remove mechanical dysfunction through manual therapy, allowing the body to restore its self-healing and self-regulating abilities.
