Mahyar is a physiotherapist registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. He completed Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD degrees in Iran. 
He has over 25 years of experience working as a physiotherapist and the professor of the Physiotherapy Department at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran.
Mahyar is also an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OMP), graduated from the National Academy of Osteopathy, Toronto, Canada, in 2020.
