Jocelyne Shim

Description

Dr. Jocelyne Shim was born in Korea and raised in Edmonton, AB. Passionate about dentistry from a young age, Dr. Shim first completed her Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at the University of Alberta and worked for several years as a general dentist before she moved to Toronto to train as an Orthodontic Specialist. Here, she completed a Master of Science degree, won a highly competitive European research grant, and her work was published in a peer-reviewed orthodontic scientific journal. Now, she is an active member of the Ontario Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the Ontario Dental Association, the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and a Fellow in the Royal College of Dentists in Canada.
