Dr. Tyler Strong was born and raised in the great community of Rocanville, Saskatchewan. Dr. Strong has added interest in areas such as diabetes, dry eyes, soft, rigid and specialty contact lens fittings and building a family practice for patients of all ages. Whenever he can, Dr. Strong loves spending his free time running, mountain biking and playing hockey. Dr. Strong is committed to sharing his small town upbringing to the city of Burnaby to build a strong community based optometry practice where he is excited to serve you and your family’s visual needs.

- He attended the University of Saskatchewan for his undergraduate studies and then went on to graduate with honors from the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 2006. During his studies he was given a great opportunity to complete an externship at Vision America in Birmingham, Alabama where he received great experience in post-surgical co-management with surgeries such as laser vision correction, and cataracts surgery as well as the diagnosis and management of retina disease, corneal disease and oculoplastics.
