Description
Dr. Janet Tan earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees (Dean’s Honour List) at the University of Waterloo. During her time as an optometry student, Dr. Tan served as class president and acted as a liaison between students and faculty. Upon graduation, Dr. Tan was the recipient of the Dr. Margaret Hansen des Groseilliers Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership skills. From her experiences, Dr. Tan has gained a special interest in myopia control, ocular disease, and pediatrics.
