Description
His special interest in fitting custom contact lenses helped him grow this aspect of the practice and has fit countless patients with custom rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses for irregular eye and conditions such as keratoconus, post corneal transplants, post PRK and lasik and a host of other corneal conditions. Dr. Morellato has also published articles on Keratoconus and Pellucid Marginal Corneal Degeneration in the Canadian Journal of Optometry.

- Dr. Morellato was born and raised in Timmins Ontario in a bilingual household. After completing his bachelor of science at the University of Ottawa in 1996, he carried on to his doctorate in optometry at the University of Montreal (1996-2000); both degrees in french.
