Description
Dr. Akemi Motomura received her Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph, and then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo. During her final year of optometry school, she completed internships that allowed her to gain experience in primary care, ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses, binocular vision/vision therapy and low vision.

Our optometrists and friendly optical staff are passionate about education and discussing with their patients any concerns they may have regarding their eyes and/or vision. Emergency eye care visits and referrals are accepted. Our doctors specialize in Dry Eye diagnosis and management, Myopia prevention and control and ocular disease management, including Diabetes. Specialty contact lens fitting also available (e.g., scleral lenses, ortho-keratology).
