Dr. Celine Lai-Tong attained both her Doctor of Optometry Degree and Honours in Biomedical Sciences undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo. As part of her training, Dr. Lai-Tong completed an externship at the Eye Associates of Pinellas, Florida where she worked closely with retinal and general ophthalmologists.
