In school, she was vice-president of VOSH student chapter, organizing fundraisers and optometric mission trips. Dr. Patel participated in a volunteer mission trip where she delivered eye care to underserviced communities. She also completed an ocular disease and therapeutics internship in Muskogee, Oklahoma where she managed diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma and other retinal diseases. Dr. Patel is passionate about providing high quality eye care to her patients, with a focus on education and disease prevention. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and staying active.
