Description
Dr. Jeff McAlear was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario, and completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical science at the University of Waterloo. He graduated from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, in 2013 with honours. Through his combination of education, clinical externships, practice and volunteering abroad, Dr. McAlear has gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases and visual conditions, and has a special interest in pediatric eye care, dry eye disease, glaucoma management and specialty contact lenses.
