Description
Dr. Alanna Adams attended the University of Alberta before transferring to the New England College of Optometry, she graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree with Honours. She attended a ophthalmologic externship with emphasis on laser, cataracts, cornea, retina and therapeutic drugs in Phoenix. This was followed by an externship at a Veterans Affairs Hospital specializing in low vision and a primary care clinic in Rhode Island. Dr. Adams returned to Edmonton where she practiced for 6 years in a optometric-ophthalmologic surgical center there she was an integral part of the surgical team.
