Dr. John Kim, OD, MS Dr. John Kim is a native of British Columbia and received his Bachelors of Science (BS) degree from the University of British Columbia. He then continued his professional education at State University of New York (SUNY), State College of Optometry in New York City, NY where he earned both his Doctor of Optometry (OD) and Masters of Science in Vision Science (MS) degrees. Dr. Kim furthered his education by completing a residency in Cornea and Contact Lenses at SUNY, State College of Optometry.In 2001, Dr Kim remained in Academia for the next 10 years as a Clinical Professor
