Dr. Clarissa Ngui was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She graduated optometry school in 2020 and practiced in Boston, Massachusetts for a year. Since then, she returned to Vancouver and joined IRIS in 2021. She is passionate about vision and eye health and is committed to serving the ocular needs of those in her community. Her clinical training includes experience in primary eye care, ocular disease, contact lenses, and Pediatrics.

Education
- After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of British Columbia, Clarissa moved all the way east to Boston, Massachusetts where she attended optometry school at the New England College of Optometry. She completed her clinical externships at the Veteran Affairs hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, as well as several community health centres in the Greater Boston area.
