Dr. Torano grew up in Nelson, BC, and then moved to Vancouver to complete her undergraduate degree at UBC. She moved to Calgary after graduating with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2002. Dr. Torano joined IRIS in 2006, where she continues to practice general optometry serving patients of all ages. She has passionately volunteered in several international trips to provide eye care to those in need around the world. Outside of work, Dr. Torano can be found enjoying the outdoors on her mountain bike, cross country skis, or hiking with her husband and 2 children
