Dr. Eric Der was born and raised in Edmonton, graduating with a Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. His passion for helping others propelled him on to receive his Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry, training in primary eye care, contact lenses, binocular vision and ocular disease. Dr. Der thoroughly enjoys practicing optometry and is thankful to be in a position where he can make a positive impact on the current and future health of your eyes. He believes that your vision should never hold you back from anything you wish to achieve.

Founded in Alberta in 2008 by a group of independent optometrists, FYidoctors has grown to be Canada's largest doctor-owned and professionally managed eye care provider with over 270 locations nationwide.
