Description

Dr. Gavin Gies graduated from the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1981. He spent the next year in a Toronto contact lens specialty practice and then several years in a primarily geriatric practice in Glace Bay Nova Scotia before returning to Ontario in 1984 to establish his practice in the Heartlake Medical building on Kennedy Road south of Sandalwood Parkway in Brampton. After 25 years (and several renovations) we relocated in 2009 to the current location at Unit 102 – 433 Wanless Road.

Summary

Founded in Alberta in 2008 by a group of independent optometrists, FYidoctors has grown to be Canada's largest doctor-owned and professionally managed eye care provider with over 270 locations nationwide.   

 At FYidoctors, we believe that optimal eye health extends far beyond simply seeing clearly.
