Description

Dr. Erin MacDonald was born in Sudbury, Ontario. She lived in London and Sarnia, Ontario before her family moved to Edmonton when she was 7 years old. Dr. MacDonald grew up in Edmonton and went to the University of Alberta where she majored in Science and minored in Business. Dr. MacDonald started her optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 1997. In 1998 she met her husband, Trent Miller, who was also in the same program. One month after she obtained her Doctor of Optometry in 2001, she married Trent in Edmonton.

Founded in Alberta in 2008 by a group of independent optometrists, FYidoctors has grown to be Canada's largest doctor-owned and professionally managed eye care provider with over 270 locations nationwide.
