She completed her Doctor of Optometry (OD) in 2012 at the SUNY College of Optometry in New York City. During her training, she completed a pediatrics externship at the Vision Institute of Canada in Toronto, an ocular disease externship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, and ocular disease/primary care/pediatrics internships at the University Eye Center in New York City.
