Description

Dr. Chen decided to pursue a career in optometry after working at an optometrist office while pursuing her Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She graduated in 2014 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She was part of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and has passed both the American National Board of Examiners in Optometry as well as the Canadian Assessment in Competence in Optometry. She believes that patient education and good communication are integral to high-quality patient care and the secret to a long lasting patient-doctor relationship.
