Description
Dr. Sammak is originally from Iran and moved to Saskatoon in 2009. Her siblings are all in the medical field, including optometry, dentistry and veterinary medicine. She came to Ottawa in 2019 and joined the Conroy Optometric team in 2020. In her spare time, Nazli enjoys reading, traveling, baking, cooking, and spending time outdoors.

Education
- Dr. Sammak attended the University of Saskatchewan for her undergraduate degree in Regional and Urban Planning from which she graduated with high honours. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Externship training at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Southern Oregon (VOSRCC), the Henderson Vision Centre in Winnipeg and the Imperial Healthcare Hospital in Dubai, provided her experience across many specialties including glaucoma, vision rehabilitation and ophthalmology (pre-operative and post-operative).

At Conroy Optometric Centre, we are dedicated to providing our patients with excellent service from our optometrists & opticians in Ottawa and in the surrounding area. We proudly perform comprehensive eye exams using the most up to date equipment, which may include our Optomap which provides us an unprecedented view of the retina, OCT to view each of the retina’s distinctive layers and Visual Fields to measure to measure peripheral vision. We also offer the latest in prescription eyewear, contact lenses complete with in house lab and onsite glasses repair.
