When Dr. Leah Thorpe first shadowed local optometrists and witnessed the relationships they were able to form with their patients, seeing them and their families year after year, she knew that optometry was a career she would find both interesting and fulfilling. Dr. Thorpe received her Bachelor of Science degree in physiology, graduating with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Distinction from the University of Waterloo.
