Kim believes in treating ailments holistically whether chronic or acute. With her experience as a Muay Thai Boxer, her knowledge in regards to sports injuries is broad. She enjoys working with various athletes and treating their injuries, or helping with general maintenance.
She has a passion for antepartum and postpartum care and looks forward to working with women throughout the various stages of their pregnancy.
Kim uses a variety of techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization and Swedish massage to establish an effective treatment.

Thrive Therapeutics is a multidisciplinary clinic located in downtown Campbell River. Owners and Registered Massage Therapists Kim Howes and Illiana Small met in highschool where they both attended Timberline Secondary. They created a fast bond and have maintained a friendship for many years. After working alongside one another for 9 years they decided to join as business partners, and enjoy providing wellness and rehabilitation to their home town community.
