RMTs perform mobilization/manipulation of soft tissues like fascia, muscles, tendons, ligaments etc. to enhance the recovery of damage and stiff soft tissue structures. Therapeutic massage not only relieves the pain but also focuses on other stressors on the soft tissues which can be due to overuse, poor ergonomics, related to injury or specific MSK conditions, it can also be due to faulty postures assumed at work or sports related. It helps to improve circulation and promotes relaxation and healing process of the soft tissue. It reduces the day to day stress and tension within the muscle.
