Our massage therapists play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team at Athletic Advantage Physiotherapy. Massage therapy is a method of manual treatment that is used to assist with the change in fascia. Fascia encompasses our muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joint capsules. Massage therapy is used to help decrease tissue tension to assist in reducing pain, increasing range of motion, and helping you live pain-free. Our therapists use various techniques such as Swedish massage, Myofascial release, effleurage, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and many more.
