With previous experience working in different types of construction jobs, Tamara would hear people frequently complain about shoulder pain. She received massage for various injuries herself and decided one day she wanted to return to school and study massage.

Tamara enrolled at the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Saskatoon. She particularly enjoyed learning about anatomy and became registered with the Canadian Massage and Manual Osteopathic Therapists Association (CMMOTA).
