Massage Therapy is the manipulation of superficial and deep muscle, connective tissues and joints. By using varying techniques to decrease pain and soreness, massage aids in the body’s healing process. Typical massage techniques are light fluid strokes, petrissage, vibration, rocking, joint play, neuromuscular and myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, and lymphatic drainage.
