Description
Dr. John Pate is the senior dentist at the Westwood and Starwood Dental and has been in practice for 40 years. He came to Guelph after receiving both an Honours Degree in Chemistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Western University. Following his graduation, he spent a wonderful year at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal as a General Practice Resident. Professionally, Dr. Pate has been a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Dental Association since 1972 and has been a member of both Boards of Governors. He lectured on behalf of the ODA for 15 years providing Continuing Education in the area of Restorative Dentistry and Cosmetics. He also holds membership with the American Academy of Operative Dentistry and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Restorative Dentistry
