Farhad Khosrow Shahian

Description

As a faculty member at the University of Detroit Mercy, School of Dentistry, he has ongoing opportunity to keep up to date and can seek advice from other experts in different areas of dentistry when he is dealing with difficult cases. While earning his Ph.D. in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Windsor, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery, he has received numerous provincial and national scholarships and awards, including being on the Dean’s List throughout his four years of dental education. Dr. Shahian is also an elected member for Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the national dental honour society. Dr. Shahian volunteers with the Give Kids a Smile Program dedicated to providing free dental care to children in inner cities.
