Maria-Astrid Urrutia

Dr. Maria Astrid Urrutia graduated from the University of Calgary in 2000 where she received her Bachelor of Science with Distinction. She was accepted into the University of Alberta where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2004. Dr. Urrutia, wanting to further her dental education, attended a postgraduate program at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, TX. There she received an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Diploma in 2005.

Dr. Urrutia realized her passion for dentistry as a teenager. She worked as a dental assistant for her father, a well-known prosthodontist in Calgary, throughout high school and university. Dr. Urrutia continues to be passionate about the profession and is committed to a lifetime of learning.
