Bona Zhang

Description

Dr. Bona Zhang was born in China, but has called Edmonton her home since early childhood. She attended local schools and completed her post-secondary education at the University of Alberta. After two years of study in the General Sciences program, she was thrilled to be accepted into the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013. In addition to receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Zhang was also awarded an honourary Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. Dr. Zhang is a capable practitioner in all aspects of general dentistry, and has special interest in oral surgery, periodontics, and oral pathology. Empathetic communication and compassion are the cornerstones of her care, and easing dental anxiety and providing a positive experience for everyone is one of her main priorities.
