Description
Dr. Bergen was born and raised in Winnipeg. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, he took time to travel the world, including having completed extensive backpacking trips throughout South America, Australia, and Asia. Dental school followed soon after his return to Winnipeg. During his four years at the faculty of dentistry at the University of Manitoba, he was active in student politics as class President, Vice President, and President of the University of Manitoba Dental Students Association. He was also consistently a member of the Dean’s honour list and won several awards.
