Dr. Deratnay aims to provide individuals with a comfortable and relaxing environment where he strives to exceed your expectations through professional results and his friendly staff.  He is dedicated to making a difference by providing exemplary dental care.  He knows that it takes more than just good technique to be a great dentist.  It takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety.

Dr. Deratnay graduated from the University of Toronto in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree and in 1990 with a DDS degree.  That same year he began practicing in Forest Hill.  He enjoys expanding his knowledge and skills by consistently taking continuing education courses. 

He enjoys squash and  golf  and is a proud father of Matt and Sarah.
