Heidi Lynn Bazarin

Description

Dr. Lynn Bazarin was born and raised in the Durham region. She is thrilled that she is able to practice in her own community.

She attended the University of Guelph where she pursued her HBSc degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics. After graduation she completed a Master of Science degree where she specialized in Immunology and Virology. During her studies she was granted the prestigious National Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) Scholarship for her work on vaccine development of avian influenza virus, as well as numerous other awards.

In 1996 she graduated from the Dentistry program at the University of Toronto with Honours. She spent the next year doing a Dental Internship at the Toronto General Hospital before entering into private practice.
