Dr. Dania Al-Sammarraie graduated from Baghdad University in 2001, and started her career in Baghdad. She can speak both English and Arabic. 

Her dentistry journey began with her mother, who was a hard working dentist. From an early age, Dr. Dania could see the joy her mother brought people when she helped fix their smiles. She was inspired to pursue that path in life as well.

Married for 17 years, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, Waleed, and her three children, two girls and a boy. She also likes to go on long hikes and loves to read in her free time.

The fact that Calgary is a beautiful, quiet and safe city is what drew Dr. Dania and her family to live here.
