Born and raised in Calgary, Dr. K started on the path to becoming a dentist during his undergraduate years. He earned two degrees — one in art and another in biology. He knew that he wanted to get into some aspect of health care and liked that he could help people and put his diverse skills to good use. To expand his horizons in a new country, Dr. K attended Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He wanted to go someplace different and get a new perspective at a school that provided its students with a well-rounded education. Dr. K completed additional work in hours, practice and experience that many other dental schools don’t require.
